Government is planning to increase the bilateral trade turnover and volumes of mutual investments with Russian Federation, Republics of Belorussia and Kazakhstan. This will be facilitated by the Program of cooperation between member-States of the Customs Union and Ukraine. The implementation period of the Program is up to 2020 year.

 

The goal of the Program is the deepening of economic integration to achieve high rates of economic growth, increase of competitiveness, improvement of investment climate and increase of investment attractiveness, the level and quality of life of the population, social protection with regard to the objective interests of Ukraine and member States of the Customs Union.

 

The objective is to increase the economic integration with the goal to achieve high economic growth rates, competitiveness, improve the investment climate and increase the investment attractiveness, population life quality and its social protection, considering the objective interests of Ukraine and member-States of the Customs Union.

 

The Program provides for cooperation of Ukraine with the countries - members of the Customs Union in such areas as trade and economic relations, energy sector, transport, agriculture, space scope, technical regulation, innovation and research, cross-border and inter-regional cooperation.

 

The expected results from the implementation of the Program is the improving of the bilateral trade turnover an average of not less than 10-15%, increasing the share of trade and services, mutual investments an average of not less than 15%, further production growth with mutual investments.
