According with information of the Ministry of Agriculture Policy and Food of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea export of food gas increased since the years begun. Compared to the same period of the previous year export volume increased by 17.2% and was 9 million USD. Volume of import was 8.6 million USD and increased by 19.9%. Food export ration was 1.3% of the total export of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea? Import ration was 1.1%

 

Within the export of food the biggest part took excise goods and non-alcohol beverages. Total sum of exported beverages in January-May 2013 was 6.6 million USD.

 

Biggest parts of alcohol drinks were exported to such countries as Russian Federation, Belorussia, Poland, Japan, Taiwan, China, Estonia, USA, Germany, Belgium, Moldova, Canada, Holland, and Great Britain.

Export of meat and fish food was estimated to 981.2 thousand USD in January-May of 2013. Main exporters are "Proliv" Ltd., "Science and productive enterprise "Vostok" Ltd.. These companies export canning fish to Russian Federation, Armenia, Kirgizia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

 

Export of pasta products and products of cereal crops was estimated to 336.5 thousand USD in January-May of 2013. Pasta was exported by PJSC "Simferopol pasta factory" to Moldavia, Armenia, Mongolia, and Georgia.

 

Moreover, confectionary products and cacao was exported on the sum of 695.4 thousand USD. Main exporter of pastry product are "Simferopol pastry factory" Ltd. This factory exports sweets to Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kirgizia.

 

Import of food in January-May of 2013 was 8.6 million USD, and compared to the same period of the previous year increased by 19.9%.

 

Alcohol drinks and non-alcohol beverages are biggest parts of food import.
