On 1 June, 2012 Svetlana Verba, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, held a meeting with Hussein Ergani, the Consul General of Turkey in Odessa.

 

Nickolay Rudyk, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and Server Osmanov, Deputy Consul General of Turkey in Odessa, also participated in meeting.

 

During the meeting were discussed issues of investment cooperation development, including involvement of Turkish business into creation of industrial parks on the territory of autonomy, construction of an airport on the Crimea, construction of logistics center to give assistance in cargo transportations, development of interregional cooperation etc.

 

 

Participants the meeting also discussed results of the International Technical Assistance Donors' Forum (30 and 31 May, 2012), found further directions of collaboration for mutual projects and discussed details of Memorandum of Cooperation with Turkish agency for cooperation and coordination (ТІКА).
