Export of goods in I quarter 2012 increased. In comparison to the same period last year, exports increased by 16.2% and amounted to 174.9 million U.S. dollars. The volume of imports amounted to U.S. $ 259.3 million, an increase of 35.4%. This is according to the General Department of Statistics in the ARC.
The foreign trade of goods in Autonomous Republic of Crimea carried out with partners from 100 countries. The largest volume of export in the first was to the Russian Federation (34.3% of total exports), Turkey (9.5%), USA (5.7%), Belarus (5.4%), Kazakhstan (4.8%), and Germany (4.5%).
In the commodity structure of exports are dominated by chemical industry and related industries 54% of total exports of goods, including tanning extracts - 38.2%, organic chemical products - 14.6%, fertilizers - 9.6%; Essential Oils - 0.7%, mechanical and electrical machines - 19.7%, mineral products - 9.5%, base metals and articles thereof - 4.6%.
Regionally increased their export business such regions as Krasnoperekopsk (37.5%), Armenian (18.2%) and Simferopol Region (82%).
The largest share of imports of goods accounted for China - 64.6%, Germany - 9%, Turkey - 4.9%, Russia - 3.9%, Italy - 1.8%, Finland - 1.2%.
In total imports of goods accounted for 50.3% of electrical machinery, 19.2% - on the court, 6.4% - on the boilers, machinery, 3.5% - for ferrous metals.
A significant increase in imports of goods was in Saki region (46.5% of total imports) and Simferopol (37.2%).
