Important information












The Autonomous Republic of Crimea increases volume of trade in goods with EU countries

 
   In January-September 2011, exports of goods of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in the EU countries increased by 1.3% over the same period in 2010 and amounted to 106.0 million USD. Imports increased by 3.4 times and amounted to 286.0 million USD. The share of exports to the EU countries in total merchandise exports of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was 21.3%, imports - 35.2%.
 
   The largest volume of exports during the period was to Germany - 29.4 million USD, Netherlands - 10.7 million USD, Hungary - 10.5 million USD, Italy - 10.4 million USD, Slovakia - 8 million USD, France - 7.8 million USD, Spain - 6.7 million USD.
 
   The export structure to the European Union was presented mainly by: dyes (46% of total exports of goods to the EU), fertilizers (11.5%), vessels (9.3%), machinery, equipment and mechanical devices (9.6%), ore, slag and ash (8.5%).
 
   Compared with the corresponding period of the last year, the volume of imports of goods has significantly increased due to the import of mechanical, electrical machinery, apparatus and appliances from Germany.
 
   The largest share of import goes from Germany (50.7% of total imports from the EU), UK (13.3%), Hungary (11.8%), Italy (7.7%), Poland (3.8%) and Slovakia (2.2%).
 
   The largest share in the commodity structure of imports from EU countries is occupied by machinery and mechanical appliances (39.1% of total imports from EU countries), electrical machinery and equipment (18.9%), ferrous metals (13.7%), vessels (12.1%).
