The concept of the visit of Crimean official delegation to China was presented

 
   First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Pavel Burlakov conducted the enlarged meeting of the working group on preparations for the visit of Crimean delegation to China on 7-17 November 2011.
 
   Opening the meeting, First Deputy Prime Minister noted that China ranks 6th place in terms of economy size, and is ahead of the United States (the leader) in terms of investment attractiveness. China's economy is increasingly integrating into the global community, expanding a partnership with Ukraine and Crimea. Pavel Burlakov recalled that the visit of Crimean delegation to China is a response and was scheduled this summer, when Crimea was visited by Chinese President Hu Jintao and Vice-Governor of the People's Government of Hainan Province Fanlyue Lin.
 
  
 
   First Deputy Prime Minister said that during the meeting, Chinese and Crimean sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in tourism, investment, agriculture and industry sectors so the return visit will fill the arrangements with real content. "We need to broadly present the investment potential of Crimea in the Asian region. Today, the resources that China is ready to invest in Ukraine are sufficiently large. Thus, China is ready to provide investments of 10 billion USD in agriculture. There is a preliminary agreement with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on signing contracts relating to Crimea under these international agreements,"- said Pavel Burlakov.
 
   During the visit to China, in addition to cooperation in the agricultural sector it is also planned to discuss prospects for cooperation in tourism exchange, transport links, including the possibility of opening a flight Simferopol - Beijing, to exchange experience in the field of medicine, new technologies, alternative energy, etc. In addition, an important goal of the visit is the strengthening of interregional relations of Crimea and China. "We also involve the deputies and city leaders to the visit in order to establish contacts and to work closely with the regions of China", - said the First Vice-Premier.
 
  
 
   Vice-Chairman of the Council of Ministers - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Crimea, Ekaterina Yurchenko explained that the visit was organized under the orders of the President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich and First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andrey Klyuyev. The members of Crimean delegation were determined in accordance with the main directions of the visit.
 
   In particular, according to Deputy Prime Minister, «China Overseas Investment Fair» will be opened on November 8 in Beijing which will include presentation of the investment and tourism potential of the autonomy, showing the film "Crimea in the Black Sea macro-region", as well as meeting of Crimean delegation with representatives of business circles of Beijing.
 
   On November 9, the delegation will meet with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy Kostenko in China, leaders of Beijing, State Administration of Tourism of China, as well as with the heads of the ministries of agriculture, commerce and transportation of China. In addition, the program of the visit includes signing of the Protocol to the acting agreement on cooperation with the province of Hainan and the Protocol to the agreement on cooperation between Yalta and the city of Sanya.
 
   The visit will be finished by the presentation of Crimea in the MIPIM ASIA 2011 exhibition on November 16.
 
  
 
   The visit is organized according to the order of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovich to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Konstantin Grishenko (taking into account the agreements reached with the head of China Hu Jintao during his visit to Ukraine on 18.06.2011, as well as the Declaration on the establishment and development of strategic partnership relations between Ukraine and China signed on 20.06.2011 in Kiev) to facilitate the organization of the visit of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in China from 7 to 16 November 2011. As well as resolution of the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andrey Klyuyev № 44348/1/1-11 dated 26/09/2011.
